Maisy Beò, R.Ac.
"Growing up in a home where traditional Chinese medicine and energy healing were a part of daily life, I learned early on how powerful these practices could be. My dad introduced me to the flow of qi and the balance of yin and yang, and my mom offered Reiki when I wasn't feeling well. These experiences shaped not only how I see health, but how I live. Being an acupuncturist allows me to honour that foundation and help others reconnect with their own healing capacity."
My Story
Maisy Beò is a passionate and skilled Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). She graduated with honours from the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she cultivated a strong foundation in acupuncture and holistic care.
Maisy's path into Chinese medicine began early in life. She was fortunate to grow up in a home deeply rooted in traditional healing practices—her father, a Qi Gong teacher and tattoo artist, introduced her to the concepts of yin and yang and the flow of energy in the body, while her mother, a Reiki healer, supported her with energy work from a young age. As a child, when she had a headache, she would instinctively ask her mom for Reiki. These early experiences sparked a lifelong respect for ancient healing methods.
As her curiosity deepened, what began as an interest soon evolved into a genuine passion. She chose to formally study acupuncture to build on the wisdom she had absorbed growing up and to refine her ability to support others on their healing journeys.
Deeply committed to lifelong learning, Maisy continually expands her knowledge to stay at the forefront of acupuncture and integrative health. She is devoted to creating a warm, supportive space where patients feel empowered to reconnect with themselves and move toward greater balance, vitality, and well-being.
As your acupuncturist, Maisy will collaborate with you to create a treatment plan that meets your unique health and wellness goals. Her aim is that you leave every appointment feeling heard, supported, and cared for.
