My Story

Véronique grew up in New-Brunswick, she has always shown interest in natural health and helping people feel better about themselves. After graduating from high school, she was uncertain which career path to pursue, and the choices seemed limited.  She decided to enroll in a volunteer program (Katimavik) where she traveled across Canada and worked with a variety of different people.

After returning from her travels, she enrolled at the University of Moncton in the Bachelor of Arts Program. From there she began a career working in retail sales where she was quickly promoted to store manager. This position was a great fit as it allowed her to inspire her staff and help customers have a greater sense of self-worth through fashion.

After 10 years working in retail sales and management, she decided to leave New Brunswick in order to pursue a new challenge in Ontario and find her ideal career. During that process, Véronique began having very painful headaches. She did seek medical care but found no solution to the problem. She was then introduced to Osteopathy by a family friend. This encounter changed her life. In retail, she was able to help customers feel better on the outside but quickly discovered that with Osteopathy she could help people feel better from the inside out, using just her hands.

After a year in Ottawa, Véronique enrolled with the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton.  She traveled between Hamilton and Ottawa for four years to attend school, while simultaneously working in her home-based clinic in Ottawa. Four years later the program was completed and she successfully obtained her Masters in Osteopathic Manual Sciences. Véronique has participated in a number of symposiums and lectures hosted by the Canadian Institute of Classical Osteopathy and by the Best for Baby University. She has over the years developed an interest in pediatric, pregnancy, pre & post partum patient care. Veronique has also taking Craniosacral course that she includes in her practice.  She is an active member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OSTCAN) and is always searching to find new and improved methods to put into practice in order to help better her patient's health.

In addition to Osteopathy, Veronique is usually spending time with her family, she is the new mama of the lovely little Jackson. She also enjoys spending time in nature, gardening, cooking, hiking, reading on various subjects, creating arts and crafts, spending time with friends or exploring new places. She also enjoys learning, so you will always find her looking for new courses to help her understand the mind, human body, trauma and all it all connects. She recently finished a course in German New Medicine, which she incorporates in her Osteopathic practice.
